Notice how quantization is implied in that graphic. It's quantized, red and green, in h/2 units of gradience.
One way we can imagine a quantum~wave~function of that loop is like this:

Compare that to another way of looking at wave~functions quantized:

Now compare those to how classical thingking views reality as a unitemporal y=f(t) linear-circular-monism:

Observe how there are n¤ 'special events' in classical monism. Vicissitudinal spontaneous change and
chaoequil gradients and quantized scintillation transmutative evolution of reality are impossible.

To see an example of how isofuzzons actualize as fuzzons and then ontologically emerse TBCSUD quarks shown in our reality loop above see
Quantonics' Fuzzons to Fermions Ontology.

TBCSUD: (From highest quark energy) Top, Bottom, Charmed, Strange, Up, Down (to lowest quark energy).

TBCS quarks are isot "face of change" fermionic fuzzons. UD quarks are isop fermionic quantons.

To relate this to an ontological energy curve, see Quantonics' Generation III Reality Loop.

This Graphic shows a simple loop labeled with two h-bars where Quantum Reality creates and discreates (See OEDC for an example.) entangled quantons. Our vertical line represents an n-spatial surface of Vacuum Energy Space, or its conceptual equivalent. All of us experience Quantum Reality's surface directly, and we can describe it, but we cannot define what it is or how it happens. A significant weakness of this graphic is that it shows neither complementarity nor superluminality. Our introduction of Bergson's quanton mitigates this weakness significantly, however. You may imagine them co-within our graphic's entirety. That is, view dotted blue flux as ubiquitous. Another weakness is our selection of arrows' directions. As shown, they imply an arrow of time which is not necessarily intended.

For a 'Definition' of Quantum Reality see.

(In Quantonics,
we consider time as yet lacking satisfactory definition.
After we wrote this statement first in early 1998, we reviewed Irving Stein's,

The Concept of Object as the Foundation of Physics.
During that review effort (October, 1998) we experienced an epiphany, A DQ Moment. That moment
disclosed to us our intuition of classical physics' mass, length, time, and even gravity as
derivatives of Pirsig's DQ and its analogous quantum flux. So now,
we define for our own purposes: m, l, t, and g = f(flux),
In Quantonics.)

(Since our artwork above was originally completed, we have adopted our hinted
quantum heuristic of heterogeneous reality and its comcomitant "many times"
or paratehmp¤rality. Our new view aligns well Dirac's many times wave function and
a more classical

On 22Dec2000 we added a Bergsonian I-Cubed Quanton as MoQ Reality's Face of Change.
Our purpose is to integrate our Quantonic semiotics with our depiction of a Pirsigean MoQ Reality Loop,
and simultaneously pick up Bergson's I-Cubed meme as depicted in our new Quantonic semiotics.
